Responsibilities:
The Software Analyst plans, develops and implements software solutions to meet the business requirements of the company and/or that of our clients.
The Software Analyst should:
- Aid in the design, analysis and implementation of our software on the Microsoft .NET technology platform
- Assist in the commercial activities by interpreting customer’s business needs and scoping the solution
- Communicate effectively between the customer and the development team by translating the business requirements into application and operational requirements
- Quickly gain a broad understanding of the overall application architecture and the existing design framework and assist in performing discovery and analysis when needed to bridge gaps in functional specifications
- Prepare detailed flow charts and diagrams outlining systems capabilities and processes
- Provide design solutions of components/modules as assigned by the Tech Lead that:
- Satisfies application functional requirements & specifications
- Complies with defined coding, source control, archiving, and delivery paradigms
- Reflect consideration of scalability, performance, maintainability, reliability, and security
- Lead and guide the development team in fulfilling the application requirements
- Oversee and ensure the timely delivery of projects
Requirements:
Essential
- Tertiary education
- At least 2 years of working experience in the following:
- ASP.NET and C#.NET using OOP concept
- MS SQL Server 2005 or above
- Familiarity with the design of web applications
- Strong analytical and customer management skills
- Relevant software design experience
- Proficient in written and verbal English
Optional but advantageous:
- XML format and technology
- RUP/UML Modelling
- AJAX Technology
- Reporting Tools (Crystal Report/Microsoft Report/SSRS)
- Visio
- Team leading experience
- Mandarin speaking capability
