Operations Director ITT Water Technology International Inc.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all R&CW manufacturing and packaging operations in Philippines and to support R&CW business initiatives and expansion in the region.
• Actively collaborates with colleagues within the ITT organizations in the design and development of programs and processes to help minimize product costs while maximizing operational efficiency. Develops and implements appropriate metrics to help insure performance against plan.
• Ensures the implementation of the manufacturing footprint strategy for product manufacturing, packaging and/or otherwise sourced in the Philippines, or other Asian Countries, with the purpose of maximizing the operating efficiency, back room process efficiencies and synergies. Drives and support product transfer and localization effort with the product management and engineering functions in RCW.
• Implements and promotes existing or newly developed standard manufacturing processes to improve quality, delivery and productivity, including overall improvements in inventory turns, excess & obsolescence, etc.
• Develops and executes strategic and Operating Agenda items to localize all material for Philippines production with respect to RCW global objectives
• Responsible for the P/L and cost of the whole plant with continuous improvement drive to maintain a lean organization. While ensuring high efficiency level of production and OTD through efficient inventory and cost management.
• Develops and implements plans to achieve productivity savings and promote/internalize Lean manufacturing, VBSS, PRM and other improvement initiatives.

Attributes and Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Accountancy or related field required; Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years manufacturing/production/integrated supply chain experience – with at least 5 years managerial responsibility for these functions.
• Fluent in spoken and written English. Able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Effective leadership, financial, influencing, communication and presentation skills.
• Operational and bottom line operating focus
• Strong manufacturing and process background including VBSS, Lean Manufacturing, Voice of the Customer, and related expertise.
• Business acumen and cultural/transnational sensitivity.
• Effective Change Agent and Value Added perspective skills.
• Strong collaborative capabilities.
• Available to travel internationally as required by the specific projects and activities.
