Job roles & responsibilities:

  • Conducting product seminars or in-house meetings at clients premises
    - Call on and arrange regular product or system presentations in-house or through a joint seminar to promote and inform developers, specifiers and contractors of our line up to meet their needs.
  • Preparing quotes and follow up on sales leads
    - Work alongside with System Integrators/contractors to understand customer needs and offer best alternatives to beat competition.
    - With good understanding of own product line up, offer alternatives to base specifications to enhance chances.
  • Monitoring public tenders and project requirements for equipment and systems which LG can provide
    - Evaluate competitiveness from the exercise and call upon clients or government departments to increase awareness.
  • Project management
    - For successful projects secured, work alongside SCM team to ensure safe operating stock levels to attempt Just In time inventory level to meet job progress needs
    - Co-ordinate with engineering support team to ensure design accuracy and systems integrity.
    - To ensure proper installation, direct testing and commissioning team to work closely with system integrators or contractors.


Job requirements

  • Bachelor in Engineering and preferably with post graduate diploma in Business
  • Minimum 8 years in similar industry.
  • High level of network of contact in building construction / contracting industry & developers.
  • Exposure to retail businesses for consumer products.
  • Knowledge of air conditioning systems and markets.
  • Good communication & leadership skills.
  • Able to multi-task & adapt to a fast paced environment.
  • IT Savvy.
