Job Vacancies Network Associate Engineer, Job Vacancies SingTel,Responsibilities:
- Maintain operation by handling faults, dockets of international and domestic MPLS base Internet Protocol Virtual Private Network (IP VPN), Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP), Video conferencing circuits, etc.
- Liaise with operational supports such as Network Providers, Field Operations and Exchange Management within Singapore operations, Overseas Telco for International segment and overseas local loop, Customers and SingTel Global Office (SGO) on network infrastructure and circuit level on services restoration and maintenance.
- Liaise with vendors to troubleshoot Customer Premise Equipment such as routers and switches (Cisco & Juniper), Riverbed, including Managed Services such as Router Management Service (RMS), servers and desktop.
- Provide technical escalation point of contact for Corporate Customers, internal operations staff and SGO on circuit maintenance.
- Review and improve operational processes to enable operations staff to operate effectively.
Requirements:
- Must possess Degree or Diploma, a Cisco Certified Advanced Network (CCNA) or its equivalent. CCNP or VoIP certification.
- Knowledge of Managed Services, IP, MPLS, and routing protocols like OSPF, BGP, RIP, EIGRP, etc, with at least 2 years of hands on experience.
- Knowledge of window applications software skills like MS Words, Excel, Power point, etc.
- Have drive and energy to explore new ways of doing things to improve customer service.
- Team worker, good interpersonal and communications skills.
- Must be customer oriented and be able to handle difficult customers.
