The incumbent shall be responsible to:
· Coordinate, direct, plan and evaluate the patient care related activities to ensure the delivery of cost-efficient high quality patient care
· Collaborate with Assistant Director to develop plans that facilitates full participation to meet objectives
· Assist the Senior Nurse Manager in coordinating, implementing and monitoring clinical and service quality performance indicators for continuous improvement
· Identify areas for improvement, examine and problem solve clinical related activities
· Engage and inspire staff for advancement through career planning and counselling
· Identify, plan and evaluate training needs of staff
· Identify and lead the quality improvement initiatives, nursing research and/or projects
· Execute new standards of care to enhance processes, patient outcome and/or staff job satisfaction
The Requirements
· Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of work experience as a clinical Senior Staff Nurse I in an acute care tertiary hospital
· Bachelor degree in Nursing with post-basic qualifications
· Good communication, interpersonal and people management skills
· Meticulous, service-oriented and able to multi-task
