You will assist the Volunteers Programme Manager in the management and development of YMCA Volunteers that covers the aspect from recruitment, recognition to retention of volunteers and any other matters pertaining to volunteers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Administer and manage volunteer database and website pertaining to volunteers matters
• Organise and coordinate bi-monthly volunteers recruitment talk and ad hoc recruitment drive
• Develop volunteers’ programmes to motivate and retain volunteers
• Organise organization wide volunteers appreciation event
• Develop volunteers handbook and volunteers managers Handbook
• Coordinate and organize training workshops for volunteers

Job Requirements

• Degree holder in any discipline preferably with 2 years of experience in community work and/or social work
• Professional individual with a vibrant personality and a natural flair for interacting with people of all levels
• Good presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities and rapid change
• An innovative team player who is dynamic, self-motivated, proactive, mature and results oriented with the determination to succeed
